Too Woo the teaching Owl

A new Too Woo book - A frog's life - a book for the world's frog lovers.

School talk at Stanley School, Teddington, Middlesex.

In January Evelyn Wood gave a talk about bees to 120 six and seven year old pupils of Stanley School Teddington. The children were enthusiastic about the subject and asked great questions afterwards. One girl told Evelyn, "You were really good" which he says is like winning an Oscar.

Sue Leney Assistant Head Teacher said, "Evelyn Wood's illustrated talk, to year two, about bees was based on his book, 'The busy world of bees'. Evelyn presented information clearly and established a good rapport with his audience. The talk was both informative and fun, telling the bees' complicated story in an easy to understand way. The children were enthusiastic and positive about the visit and the new facts they'd learned. Teachers who attended the talk enjoyed it and learned some new facts too. The talk was followed by a lively question and answer session. Evelyn particularly enjoys this interaction with children and hopes to inspire a lifelong interest in the natural world with his books and talks.
Based on our experience, I'm happy to recommend him as a speaker."
